It's with conflicting feelings I have to lower my rating for this place and it's because of a negative carry out experience...

I stopped here with my boys for a quick carry out order for my picky son and ended up waiting waaaay longer for my order than I should have put up with. I went in on a Wednesday evening around 6:00pm and the place was hoppin. I was about 4th in line to place an order and that was understandable, considering the amount of people in there.

I waited patiently and then it was my turn. I ordered a basic 4 pack of tenders with fries and a single dipping sauce. I explained the order was "to go" and that I would be right outside parked on the curb. I waited 15-20min before going back in to check on the order and they said they needed another 5-10min. We waited longer, went back in and it was still not ready. After 40 MINUTES we finally got our food!  They did not apologize for the obscene amount of time nor did they offer anything as compensation. I understand that places get super busy around supper time, but this was ridiculous.

I'll honestly say the tenders were pretty good and fairly juicy and the fries were fantastic, but no tenders and fries are worth waiting in line plus an extra 40 MINUTES. (these ones cost $12, btw) We won't be in a hurry to go back to this spot after this poor experience.

Straight forward menu centered around chicken and wings. We went here yesterday for dinner because it was on our list of new places to try and we were in the area so we gave it a shot. I got the 4-pack which is 4 chicken tenders, one side, and one sauce. My boyfriend got the wing and chicken combo which was a pound of wings, 3 chicken tenders, 2 sides, and 2 sauces. We both had the queso mac n cheese, he had the fries, blue cheese and the citrus bbq sauce. I had the honey mustard. We both also had local beers.

Pros: everything tastes really fresh. Fried foods like this have a tendency to be caked in heavy breading and greasy. The breading on the tenders is thin and flavorful and the chicken tenders themselves are HUGE. Two put together were the size of a big chicken breast. The wings were equally large, I'd say about 8 came in the one pound order.
Sauces were great. The blue cheese was super thin and had fresh chunks of blue cheese in it which he didn't love, but again really fresh and they taste made in house. The citrus bbq and the honey mustard were awesome. French fries are thick and have a good flavor, you can tell they are from fresh potatoes. There are gluten free options which is super appreciated at a place like this.
I think all of the beer and alcohol options are local too which is really cool.

Cons: the queso mac n cheese left a lot to be desired. It's good, a little bland. It's literally like regular egg noodles topped in a layer of queso cheese and shredded cheddar. It's more of cheesy noodles rather than mac n cheese. For me, mac n cheese is smaller noodles fully baked into a thick and creamy cheese sauce. This was just noodles topped with a layer of queso. Just something to keep in mind if you're anticipating regular mac.

Overall we both agreed we would go back. Not a bad little spot! Lots of people came in for takeout orders for the hour or so we were there so it would be a good place to pick up food for a game or something on tv.

I went to Boss for the first time this week and had an INCREDIBLE experience! The food was delicious. And our server Brandon was amazing! He  suggested we order the meal that came with the wings, tender and two sides. He did not steer us wrong. It was more than enough to feed me and boyfriend and it was also delicious! Definitely going back very soon!

First time here- we'll be back! Just finished the WingsNTender - 1 lb wings, 3 tenders, 2 sides & 2 sauces. Wings are so crispy - perfect! Sides - cauliflower Mac n cheese and fried Brussel sprouts - yum!
(Plus a beer for the spouse & a wine for me) Casual quick dinner - great place!
